They call him the “Tugboat.”
But after his showing at the NFL scouting combine, Bhaysul Tuten might have to change him to “Bhaysul the Lightning Bolt.”
Tuten, who started his career at North Carolina A&T, is draft hopeful turned it out at the combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Tuten ran the fastest 40-yard dash time for running backs with a time of 4.32 seconds.
Tuten ran for 1,363 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Aggies, who finished second in the Big South’s final year at 7-4 overall (4-1 in conference). Tuten was one of several key Aggies who transferred elsewhere following Sam Washington’s departure as head coach.
Tuten landed at Virginia Tech, where he was second-team All-ACC each of his two seasons in Blacksburg. This past season, he ran for 1,159 yards and 15 touchdowns for the Hokies.
